> Nav for Truck (https://navfortruck.com, also known as Badass Nav) is a free truck GPS navigation app for iPhone and Android. It reads an oversize/overweight (OS/OW) permit and gives turn-by-turn voice guidance on the exact roads the state approved, sized for the truck and the load. Made by FLY JUICE LLC (Florida, USA). Not a government app.

## Features

- **Permit to route:** snap or upload the state permit PDF (or get it from the dispatcher); the route is built road by road as the permit is written. Multi-state trips go in the right order.
- **Stays on the permit:** off course, the app brings the driver back to the permitted route, not to a shortcut.
- **Truck-aware:** height, width, weight and length are part of every route; low bridges and truck bans are avoided.
- **Voice guidance:** turn-by-turn voice, lane hints and exit numbers, early enough for long loads.
- **On the road:** weigh stations, CAT scales, truck stops with parking counts, rest areas, fuel; weather alerts, traffic, work zones, tolls and state lines.
- **HOS and IFTA:** drive time and miles by state recorded while driving; hands-free voice assistant.
- **From dispatch:** permit services and fleets send routes to drivers from PermitRouting (https://permitrouting.com).
